Mobile internet check service: in-browser speed test, carrier detection, and a point on the regional coverage map
Project GEO NETWORK
The region needed a real picture of mobile connectivity: where the internet actually works and where coverage exists only on carriers' paper. Residents themselves had to collect it — without installing apps or registering.
We built a web service with a single GO button: it detects the carrier by IP, requests coordinates only at the moment of the check, measures ping, download, and upload in several parallel streams to the nearest Cloudflare node, and puts an anonymized point on the regional coverage map.
A resident checks the connection at their location in seconds — right in the browser, with no apps or registration
Every check lands as a point on a shared map — you can see where the connection really works and where it exists only on paper
No personal data is collected: only the carrier, coordinates, and speed
